Bengali Egg Curry Recipe

  • First, you have to boil the eggs in a pot with salt for 7-8 minutes. Then in a mixing jar, dry and crush the poppy seeds, then grind the raw chilies well with salt and half a cup of water.

  • Then peel the eggs and fry them in a frying pan with mustard oil, chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt on a low flame. Then lightly fry the chilies in the oil for 30-40 seconds on low heat with dried chilies and sliced green chilies and lightly fry the onions for 2 minutes. Then add the tomato paste, chili powder, salt, and turmeric powder one by one.

  • After that, fry the poppy seeds again for a minute and a half, fry them well, add enough water and make gravy. Boil the fried eggs in it for a few minutes on low heat.
